Bridgett was a Mermaid for Halloween again this year (check out last year's Halloween blog to see how much she's grown). We went to the houses in my parent's cul de sac just to introduce her to the idea of trick or Treating. At the first house she was a bit frightened, but once she realized she would get a prize just for walking around and looking cute she really got into it. She didn't even mind at the end that she did not get to partake in the prizes (she doesn't eat sugary things yet, graham crackers and popsicles are about as far as we go with sugar). after that first house she did try to enter each house as if we were invited over for tea. It was pretty cute. Then she'd say "Happy Wawaween" and get close enough for candy, and then proceeded to say, "hello pumkin" to every pumpkin she saw. All in all it was very fun.
